Technical Issues Discovered

From time to time we do find technical issues, because either the website didn't update properly or we didn't input the correct information, as all our of data is input by hand after each draw.

Mathematician William Paul Thurston, once said that mathematics is not really about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: It is about understanding.  We know a percentage off by .01% or a date posted incorrectly is not a big deal, but understanding that were always trying to do our best and resolve the issues is a big deal to us.

Date & Type of Problem:

Unknown Date 2020:  We believe our first technical issue was that there was a numbering chart error listed for the Powerball lottery discovered on March 1st, 2020 for our Google Doc Spreadsheet prediction chart. The chart had been updated incorrectly listing 96 total draw patterns, not 92 which is the correct number.  We resolved the issue after discovering it and renumbered the chart.

June 22, 2021:  It was discovered that the draw pattern prediction chart for the Euro Millions Lottery had been updated correctly on May 28th, but the Double Low Double Teen draw pattern should have been removed from the Lottery List on that day and the Triple Twenty draw pattern added to the lottery list, based on the prediction chart. We resolved the issue after discovering it 7 drawings later.

June 22, 2021:  It was discovered that the drawing date was entered incorrectly on the Google Doc Spreadsheet on the Draw Order and the Past Draws pages for the Mega Millions lotto probability draw pattern mathematics report on June 18, 2021. It was posted incorrectly as June 22nd, 2021 and the issue was resolved after the next drawing and the dates were updated correctly for June 18th, 2021.

June 22, 2021:  It was discovered that the drawing date was entered incorrectly on the Google Doc Spreadsheet for the Draw Order and the Past Draws page for the Euro Millions lotto probability draw pattern mathematics report on June 18, 2021. It was posted incorrectly as June 22nd, 2021 and the issue was resolved after the next drawing and the dates were updated correctly for June 18th, 2021.

June 24, 2021:  It was discovered on the Google Doc Prediction History Spreadsheet for Powerball, Lotto America and the California Super Lotto, that the total number of predictions had not been properly updated on June 19th, 2021 to reflect 210 total draws instead of the 209 that was listed from the last drawing. The issue was resolved and the totals were corrected to reflect 211 total drawings predicted for each individual game on June 24, 2021.

The prediction statistics for the forum and blog post for the Mega Millions and Euro millions correct predictions that were posted the day before on June 23rd were edited and corrected to reflect the minor change in updated statistics.

July 28, 2021:  It was discovered on the Google Doc Prediction Statistics History Spreadsheet for the Lucky for Life Lottery that the total number of predicted draws was 36 and that 2 draws were missing from the total amount that should have been 38 past total predicted draws and the issue was corrected.

This particular correction also adjusted the total percentage rate for all 6 games prediction rates from 66.31 to 66.05.
